I have been making quilts for 15 years. My Grandmother, Charlotte Henderson, was a great inspiration to me. She was a go-getter; her hobbies were gardening, seeing to the church needs, and she loved to quilt and crochet. My desire has always to be like her.
Although I use the modern-day sewing machine when creating the quilt top, I use the traditional, hand stitching method to sew the three layers (the backing, the batting, and the top) together.
It’s certainly not fast, but stunningly beautiful and all my quilts are one-of-a-kind heirlooms created to pass from one generation to the next. Creating and crafting is my passion.
