I am self-taught in jewelry making and work with copper a great deal. I like the problem-solving aspect of the whole creative process; not knowing exactly what it will look like finished, what chemical will produce what color in the copper or how much heat will change it and what I can try next! Everything is sealed so the color does not change over time and the end result is always a surprise.
Along with my partner, Erin Bailey, we create one of a kind pieces of jewelry from repurposed copper, brass, anodized aluminum, and leather that we call ‘Wearable Art’.
This is how I keep busy after retirement.
